The timeline depends on the model, whether the car is already at port or needs to be factory ordered, way of transport from China, and custom and EU registration procedure. New cars order takes usual 10 to 20 days, depend of the factory. Domestic transport to the port and export custom clearance about 7-10 days. Transport by the sea about 45-50 days, by the train 15-20 days. EU custom clearance and EU registration procedure about 5-10 days. Cars currently in the stock at port in China can typically be delivered to Slovakia within 6 - 9 weeks, cars to be ordered from the factory within 8 - 11 weeks, covering shipping, customs clearance, and Slovak registration. We provide a clear estimated timeline when you place your order.

Once your vehicle arrives in Slovakia, we manage the final Slovak registration process on your behalf. This takes place after import and your car will be fully registered before handover.

Yes. All vehicles we import are left-hand drive, which is standard across continental Europe including Slovakia.

The prices shown on our website are the vehicle price at port in China. Additional costs include international shipping, EU import duties, VAT, and Slovak registration fees. We provide a full transparent cost breakdown in your personalised quote before you commit to anything. There are no hidden fees.

Not. All vehicles imported from China into the EU are subject to import duties and VAT and we are covering those costs. The exact amount depends on the vehicle value and current EU tariff rates. We calculate and include all duty costs in your upfront quote so you know the total price before signing.

Imported cars are Chinese specification, so the factory warranty does not apply in the EU. Instead we include a three year extended warranty covering the whole vehicle, arranged through Defend Car Protect, on every car we register in Slovakia. A two year term is available if you prefer. Warranty providers only operate in the country of registration, so for cars registered elsewhere you arrange equivalent cover locally, much as you would with insurance. Either way we provide local after-sales support.

We provide local after-sales support for every vehicle purchased through RaceIQ, including fast delivery of spare parts. On cars registered in Slovakia you are covered directly by Defend Car Protect for warranty claims. For routine and warranty servicing we work with our qualified partner Bosch Car Service in Slovakia and Poland. Chinese EVs use standard components that are increasingly supported across European service networks.

Vehicles require EU type approval and Slovak registration after they arrive, this is a standard part of the import process that we manage entirely. Your car will be fully road legal before we hand it over to you.

We are happy to arrange viewings where possible and can provide detailed photos, videos, and specifications for any model. Some models we will have as showroom cars available for test drives.
