RaceIQ is not just a dealership — we are a full-service import partner. We manage the entire journey from sourcing your vehicle in China to handing you the keys in Bratislava, fully registered and road legal. EU type approval and registration are completed after import as part of our full service — every step is handled by our team, giving you complete confidence and total peace of mind.
The Import Process
Nine steps. Zero stress.
Initial Consultation
We begin with a consultation to understand exactly what you are looking for — model, specification, budget and timeline. We advise on availability: whether the car exists in stock at a supplier, is available for immediate export, or needs to be put into production. Every order starts with honest, informed advice.
Personalised Quote
We prepare a full transparent quote covering the vehicle price, international freight, customs duties, VAT, homologation and registration fees. All costs are presented upfront — the price you agree is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no surprises.
Contract & First Payment
Once you are happy with the quote we prepare a formal import agreement clearly defining the vehicle, purchase conditions, delivery timeline and payment schedule. A 30% deposit is due upon signing — this secures your order and initiates the process.
Sourcing & Export Authorization
We source your vehicle through our authorised distributor network in China. Since January 2026, EU regulations require manufacturer authorization to export vehicles from China. Our distributors hold this authorization, ensuring every vehicle we import is fully compliant, legally exported and traceable from factory to delivery.
Production (if applicable)
For vehicles put into production to your specification, the manufacturing and factory preparation process takes approximately 84 days from order confirmation to factory exit. We monitor production progress and keep you informed throughout. For stock vehicles this step is skipped entirely.
Second Payment & Freight
Sixty percent of the vehicle price is due before the car leaves the factory. We then manage the full international freight — by sea in 45 to 60 days, or by rail in 15 to 20 days, depending on your timeline and preference. We handle all port handling, loading documentation and cargo tracking.
Customs Clearance
Upon arrival in the EU we manage all customs formalities on your behalf — import documentation, duty payments and VAT. All applicable costs are included in your upfront quote so there are no surprises at this stage.
Homologation & Registration
We manage the individual vehicle homologation at our certified EU partner facility, bringing the car into full compliance with European technical and safety standards. Once homologated, we handle complete vehicle registration — available in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland or anywhere within the EU.
Handover & After-Sales
The final 10% is due at handover. You receive your vehicle fully registered, plated and ready to drive — with complete documentation and a full walkthrough from our team. We also offer ongoing after-sales support: servicing through our network of certified partner workshops, warranty coverage managed via our partner DEFEND, and insurance — we can arrange both comprehensive and third-party liability cover.

It depends on the model and availability. Some cars can be delivered in 8–10 weeks, others may take up to 16 weeks if built to order. We give you a clear estimate when you place your order.
No. All costs including the vehicle price, shipping, customs duties, VAT and registration fees are presented to you upfront in your quote. The price you agree is the price you pay.
Manufacturer warranty is included on eligible vehicles — this depends on the specific model and configuration. We confirm warranty status in your personalised quote. Regardless of warranty status, we provide local after-sales support in Slovakia.
In most cases yes. We can source specific configurations and colours directly from the factory. Some limitations may apply depending on the model and production schedule.
Your involvement is minimal. You will need to sign the import contract, provide documentation for registration, and be available for the handover. We handle everything else.
