The ROX Adamas is a large all-terrain extended-range SUV, 5,050 mm long on a 3,010 mm wheelbase, with six or seven seats. Built by ROX (Polarite), with exterior design by the Italian studio Pininfarina, it pairs an upright, squared-off body with a leather-trimmed cabin and the ground clearance and wading depth of a genuine off-roader.
At its heart is an extended-range system pairing a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors producing 350 kW and 740 Nm, reaching 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. A 44.5 kWh CATL NMC battery delivers 215 km of pure electric CLTC range, extending to a combined 1,405 km CLTC with a full 70-litre tank, or 1,171 km on the WLTC cycle. DC charging takes the battery from 20 to 80% in 27 minutes at up to 80 kW.
The Adamas is built for rough ground. Closed-loop air suspension with 140 mm of travel, DCC adaptive dampers and seven ride-height levels gives 272 mm of ground clearance as standard and up to 324 mm in Recovery Mode, where it wades to 770 mm. It climbs a 45-degree gradient and has four drive modes: Sport, Standard/Comfort, Off-road and Snow. Inside are leather upholstery, electric soft-close doors on all four sides, heating, ventilation and massage for the first and second rows, and a 15.7-inch 3K central touchscreen with a second 15.7-inch display for the rear. The ROX Adamas runs its driver assistance on a Horizon Robotics Journey J6M chip rated at 128 TOPS, with three millimetre-wave radars, 11 cameras including a binocular 8 MP forward camera, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. It is an L2 system with full-speed adaptive cruise and assisted driving on highway sections, backed by front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera. Closed-loop air suspension with 140 mm of travel, DCC adaptive dampers and seven ride-height levels adjusts both stiffness and height, and four drive modes (Sport, Standard/Comfort, Off-road and Snow) cover road and trail. The cockpit runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 with 5G and over-the-air updates. The EREV architecture means the 1.5T engine never drives the wheels directly. It acts purely as a generator, so the Adamas always drives like an EV.
